Other cruise lines with casinos

Beyond the ten lines we cover in depth, plenty of ships have a casino, but few run a program that turns play into free cruises. Here's what we found.

Short answerPlenty of other ships have casinos, including Cunard, P&O, Costa, AIDA, Seabourn, Silversea and Windstar, but in the sources we checked none runs a program that turns play into free cruises. Oceania and Regent share NCL's Casinos At Sea tiers, which bring discounts rather than free cruises. Disney, Viking's ocean ships and Norwegian's Pride of America have no casino.

Casinos, but no free-cruise program

"No program found" means the sources we checked mention none, not proof that one doesn't exist.

Oceania and Regent: discounts, not free cruises

Both sail under Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings and share NCL's Casinos At Sea tiers (Pearl 4,000, Sapphire 15,000, Ruby 35,000 and Elite 100,000 points, April to March).

  • What you getStateroom discounts (up to Category A), convenience fee (A charge some lines add when you move money from your cabin account into casino play.) waivers ($600 at Sapphire, $1,000 at Ruby, $1,500 at Elite), points for free play (Promotional casino credit for the machines. The credit itself can't be cashed out, but what you win with it can.), and points toward your bill for spa, specialty dining or other charges, redeemed through the casino host (A casino employee who looks after regular players and arranges offers and comps.) on the last day.
  • What you don'tFree cruises aren't listed, and onboard credit (Money added to your cruise account to spend on board, for example on drinks, dining or the spa. It usually can't be withdrawn as cash.), future cruise credit and drink packages are NCL-only benefits.
  • Caesars membersCaesars Rewards gives 5–20% off Oceania and Regent fares by tier. See the partnerships guide.
