Notes on these figures
Cruise Critic (undated review) states 180 slot machines and 18 gaming tables. Conflict: Casino.org (published 2024-03-04, updated 2026-04-10) says 'slightly more than 200' slot machines, 15 tables and 'almost 5,000' sq ft. size_sqft records Casino.org's 'almost 5,000'. Cruise Critic's 180/18 matches a generic Carnival blurb on its sister site cruiseline.com, so it may not be ship-specific.
Name honours Carnival's first ships (Empress of Canada / Empress of Britain) per Cruise Critic. Occupies the greater part of Deck 7. On Heald's Oct 2026 non-smoking list.
