How it plays
Gold coin scatters start the bonus, and you then choose your own volatility: options run from many free games with small wild multipliers to very few free games with large ones (the top option is reported at up to 30x). During free games, red envelope symbols landing on the first and last reels pay a bonus prize. Where offered, an ante bet adds five extra free games to each option.

Tips from players and reviewers
- The free-games choice is the key decision: many spins with low multipliers is the steady option; few spins with the biggest multipliers is the lottery-ticket option.
- If the machine offers the ante/extra bet, it adds free games to every option; IAG reported in 2012 that the ante raised the return slightly in Macau, but check your machine's help screen.
- Sources disagree on the exact spin/multiplier pairs; read the bonus screen before choosing.
Tips can't change the odds of any spin. They help you pick a bet level and a machine.
Industry standing and land-casino jackpots
5 Dragons was long Aristocrat's flagship Asian-themed game; in 2012 it was still described as the most popular standalone slot in Macau, and its pick-your-free-games idea was copied widely. It remains a staple inside Wonder 4 and Grand/Xtreme versions.

How reports are checked
- Only signed-in members with a confirmed email address can report.
- One report per member for each game, ship and month, from the line's fleet list.
- Up to 20 reports a day per member.
- A report without a note is published straight away. A report with a written note is held until an editor has read it.
- Editors can approve or reject held reports and remove any report. You can delete your own reports at any time.
- Published reports show the line, ship, month and note, never your name or email.
